Fiona has developed an Athlete Centric Training System tailoring training progression to your season goals and how well you sustain progress from phase to phase. Fiona’s program is based on 15 years of experience, working with world-class coaches, winning World and European Championships and progression from top ten finishing Amateur to Pro Ironman athlete with a full-time day job. Choosing the quality over quantity approach to training and using evidence-based methods delivers consistency in results, every time.
No two triathletes are the same, and a training plan will only get you so far. To fully develop your potential, choosing to work with a coach who focuses on your individuality as a multisport athlete ensures you make and sustain progress in key areas for performance in triathlon. As the athlete, you can then focus on executing the plan and achieving consistency in your training to feel and see the results. Having a full-time professional coach provides you with confidence in your plan focusing on the details to ensure you keep improving. Performance is a journey, not a destination!
Fiona creates your annual plan after a face to face consultation, forming the foundation of your season’s work and peaking you for the right races. Regular performance testing throughout the season provides feedback on speed, endurance and efficiency progress for swimming, cycling and running. Your feedback in Training Peaks and during catch ups help to inform your progression. Functional strength and conditioning are built in, using the triathlon specific program developed at Fiona’s training base in the French Alps.
